I am pleased to annouce we'll be starting three new Book Clubs for Michael's Language Lounge this October!
We've had a lot of interest lately, as well as some returning students! So, we've decided to make our classes smaller and open up new time slots!
We'll talk all about it and answer all of your questions on Monday, October 9th, live at 8 pm (Brasilia time), on my instagram @m.languagelounge.

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind
Starting October 16th, meeting every Monday at 7 pm
This is a great book for advanced students, a wonderful opportunity to talk about some of the great questions about our world and societies. It's a great book to learn about culture, social and environmental issues. So, lots to talk about and lots of new vocabulary!

All the Light We Cannot See
Two new groups starting October 18 (meets every Wednesday at 8:30 pm) and October 24th (meets every Tuesday at 8 pm)
We'll have two groups of students reading this novel, starting in October!
The novel is set during World War II and centers around the characters Marie, a blind French girl who takes refuge in her uncle's house after Paris is invaded by Nazi Germany, and Werner, a bright German boy who is accepted into a military school because of his skills in radio technology.
It's an amazing historic story, and it has been adapted into a movie, coming out soon on Netflix.
